    2 men arrested in Marlboro County after crash, ‘possible shootout’

    MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two men have been arrested after a “possible shootout” in Marlboro County on Sunday, according to the sheriff’s office.

    Dion David and Leroy Williams were both arrested after a scene that started on Breeden Street in Bennettsville and ended after one of the cars involved crashed, the sheriff’s office said.

    David is charged with two counts of attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a vehicle, possession of weapon during a violent crime, and possession of crack cocaine. Williams is charged with three counts of attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a vehicle, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

    Both men are being held in the Marlboro County Detention Center.
