    Driver dies in single-vehicle rollover crash in Dillon County

    DILLON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person has died after their vehicle crashed and rolled over in Dillon County late Wednesday morning, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

    The crash happened at about 11:50 a.m. on Lucius Road near Patriot Street, Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said. It happened about 1 mile south of Dillon.

    The vehicle, a 2024 Nissan Altima, was traveling south on Lucius Road when it traveled off the right of the road and overturned, according to Butler. The driver, whose name was not immediately available, died at the scene.
