New details revealed on inmate’s escape, warrant issued for female accomplice: Docs

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — New details are being released in a brazen escape of four inmates, three of who remain at large, and a warrant has been issued for a female accomplice, according to records obtained by Queen City News on Friday.

A warrant was issued for Zaryeal Dixon on offenses that included aiding escapees from prison. In the warrant, Dixon is accused of aiding the inmates with transportation after they escaped from the Chesterfield County Detention Center Monday night through a ventilation system and communicating with the four through text messaging.

Queen City News is working to confirm Dixon has been arrested and will have those details once they come into the newsroom.

Emanuel Planco, 23, who was one of the four inmates who escaped on Monday was captured on Thursday in Richland County, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

The other three escaped inmates, identified as Anton Conway Bennett, Kyonne Marquise McLeod, and De’Shawn Malik Fox, remain on the run at this time.
