VIDEO: Smoke lingers from 10-acre fire in Horry County

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Crews worked on Friday to contain a 10-acre fire in Horry County, authorities said.

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at about 10:40 a.m. to fire in the area of Cottage Creek Circle and Wayside Road. No structures are threatened, but officials say smoke from the fire may be visible in the area.

HCFR released a video showing the fire and smoke in the area. The South Carolina Forestry Commission is assisting.
