MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Sunday will feature another beautiful day across the region. A few areas along the border belt and Pee Dee could see a little fog, first thing in the morning. We will see most areas starting off the day pretty cool, so grab those jackets has you head out to church, or brunch. Sunshine will be abundant, so high temperatures top out in the low to mid 70s. A few areas could flirt with the upper 70s along the border belt. Sunday evening will feature temperatures falling into the upper 40s to low 50s. Again, under clear skies.

Heading into to the work week, we will see a warm up across the area. Each day through Thursday we will be adding a few degrees on to the afternoon highs. Temperatures will start in the mid 70s and warming to the low 80s in the Pee Dee by Thursday, and near 80 along the coast. We will see plenty of sunshine, and minimum cloud cover. We have recorded 22 straight days without any measurable rainfall across the area. Dry and warming weather could expand drought conditions in our area this week. Please remember to keep an eye out for any outdoor burning.

By the end of the week into the weekend, a dry cold front will move into the area. Temperatures will fall into the low to mid 70s for daytime highs and 50s overnight.
