It's no different than the rest of the country. Red and Blue states alike. I moved to Burlington in the mid eighties and remember more than a few homicides here. Are there more desperate people out there today? Absolutely. More drugs and guns? No doubt. I don't blame the "Libs" for that though. I'm sure those of you that do are willing to pay more in taxes for more cops and prisons, right?
