    Police looking to identify 2 men in Mount Pleasant boat theft

    MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Mount Pleasant are working to identify individuals who stole a boat from the Shem Creek Marina.

    The theft happened on August 18. Police say the boat was taken from 526 Mill Street, which is the Shem Creek Marina, and ditched the vessel at Gold Bug Island off Ben Sawyer Boulevard.

    Police described the boat as an 18-foot 2024 188 Triton Sea Hunt.

    One of the men seen in surveillance images was seen wearing a black fender shirt, black hat, gold chain, black pants, and black shoes. The other was wearing a white, red, and black American shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

    Anyone with information about the identity of the two individuals is asked to contact Detective Neese with the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 843-884-4176.
