CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Board of Voters Registration and Elections (BVRE) has extended the submission window for the 2024 ‘I Voted’ sticker design contest.

Officials say the extension comes as Charleston County students continue making fantastic artwork showcasing the electoral process and love of the Lowcountry.

The contest is open to all Charleston County students entering K-12. Officials will close the contest at 12 p.m. on September 15, 2024.

After submissions, a selection of five finalists from each group (K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) will be determined by the BVRE executive team.

According to officials, finalists’ designs will be subject to public voting on the Board of Elections Facebook page. Followers will vote for their favorites through Facebook reactions.

Winning designs will be printed on a limited run during early voting for the 2024 General Election.

Winners will receive a BVRE prize pack, including a $50 gift card to D’Allesandro’s Pizza, two tickets to Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, their design printed on stickers, and a certificate of achievement.

Participants can submit their designs here . Department of Elections says entries can be mailed, emailed, or delivered in person to the department.
