    Tickets on sale now for Aquarium Aglow at the South Carolina Aquarium

    CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Aquarium Aglow is returning this year, brighter and more dazzling than ever! On select evenings from November through December, the South Carolina Aquarium will once again transform into a luminous wonderland, offering a mesmerizing light spectacular that’s perfect for the whole family.

    This year, the South Carolina Aquarium is introducing early bird pricing for Aquarium Aglow. All tickets purchased now through October 31 will automatically receive a 15% discount at checkout, making it easier than ever to plan your visit.

    Aquarium Aglow features installations crafted from thousands of lights, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy festive photo opportunities and Charleston’s most unique Santa experience — Scuba Claus! Each night, Scuba Claus will dive into the Great Ocean Tank, fully decked out in his classic red suit and white beard, waving to visitors from beneath the water.

    In addition to the stunning light displays, food and drinks, including a selection of alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase, ensuring a complete holiday experience.

    Aquarium Aglow opens to the public on Thursday, November 21, and will run from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. on select dates through the end of the year.

    Please note that Aquarium Aglow tickets are sold separately from general admission tickets. Early bird pricing of 15% off will be automatically applied at checkout for tickets purchased through October 31. Aquarium members enjoy an additional benefit, receiving 20% off listed prices regardless of the purchase date.
