CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – It’s shaping up to be a gloomy Saturday, with humidity and mostly cloudy skies dominating the forecast.

Expect some light showers throughout the day, so if you’re heading outside, keep your rain gear close—you’ll likely need an umbrella.

“Overall today, we’re going to be around the low 80s with mostly cloudy skies and some scattered showers,” Storm Team 2 forecasts.

“This may not be your perfect beach or boat day, but more of a day to stay inside and get some chores done or things that need to be done around the house,” said Meteorologist Grace Lowe.

Fortunately, the rain won’t be too heavy. “This is not heavy rain, just some light showers moving through the area,” added Lowe.

Tonight’s forecast predicts cooler air with temperatures dropping into the low 60s, making for a comfortable evening.
