    S.C. Highway Patrol investigating crash involving North Charleston Police vehicle

    NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a collision that occurred on Saturday afternoon involving a North Charleston Police vehicle.

    The accident took place on Otranto Road at Antler Road, near Rivers Avenue.

    According to Harve Jacobs, spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department, the officer involved was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while the driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.

    The Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident

    Every accident in the department I WORKED AT FOR YEARS involved driving too fast (unnecessarily) or distracted driving!!

    Was the officer given a breathalyzer?? Did they consent to a blood test? Just asking questions COPS ASK PEOPLE EVERYDAY RIGHT AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN TRAUMATIZED OR SHAKEN UP BY AN ACCIDENT…. If they have nothing to hide it shouldn’t bother them right…… sound familiar??
