Man arrested for sexual exploitation after tip from Florida agency

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for sexual exploitation of a minor after receiving information from an agency in Florida.

Casey Donald Marshall, 40, of Ladson is charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in the second degree.

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant and arrest on the 9700 block of Table Mountain Lane in Ladson. Warrants were obtained after an extensive investigation prompted by information provided by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Authorities say Marshall used an online messaging and community website to send explicit photos and messages out of state. During the investigation detectives linked Marshall to a nudist community in Osceola County.

Marshall is being held in the L C Kight Dorchester County Detention Center on a $65,000 cash surety bond.
