    Police respond to gunfire in Johns Island parking lots; no injuries reported

    JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Gunfire broke out in two Johns Island parking lots after a confrontation Sunday morning, prompting a quick police response but leaving no reported injuries.

    Charleston Police Sgt. Christopher Stinson reported that both the Charleston Police Department and the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident involving gunfire at Zeppelin’s parking lot and the nearby CVS parking lot.

    According to witnesses, an altercation broke out, leading to multiple individuals shooting at each other.

    No injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made.

    Authorities are continuing to investigate the situation.
