    COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – As of Saturday, October 5, a total of 48 storm-related fatalities have been confirmed across multiple counties in South Carolina.

    The number of deaths rises from the reported 46 on Friday with two more confirmed in Newberry and Spartanburg counties.
