DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Charles Singleton, who has been missing since Friday, September 13.

He was last seen leaving his home at 2298 Highway 78 in Dorchester around 4 p.m. on September 13. His family reported him missing at 2:46 p.m. the following day, Saturday, September 14, after he failed to return home.

Singleton’s wife has informed authorities that he suffers from mental health issues, raising concern for his safety. At the time of his disappearance, Singleton was wearing green track pants with green stripes and a long-sleeve black shirt.

Authorities urge anyone who comes into contact with Charles Singleton to immediately contact the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office or Kimberly Kite with the Broken Link Foundation at 910-384-0142.

Efforts are ongoing to locate Singleton, and the Sheriff’s Office requests the public’s help in sharing any information that could lead to his safe return.
