Restaurant rewards app launches in Charleston market

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A restaurant rewards app that offers credits when you check in at registered places launched in Charleston recently.

Blackbird users can eat at over 30 Charleston area restaurants, including Kultura, Rancho Lewis, Melfi’s, and Millers All Day, and earn $FLY rewards, which can be spent like cash at Blackbird restaurants.

Users must check in to earn rewards by tapping their device on a Blackbird branded “puck” at the restaurant. The puck notifies staff that guests have arrived as well. After tapping, your account will update with earned $FLY.

To see what restaurants are offered, click find your next meal in the app, and a map of all local Blackbird spots will pop up.

Users can also make reservations through the app, see special events offered, and upgrade their “regular” status.

The app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
