U.S. Bank Stadium is giving a preview of its new food and drink options ahead of the Viking first home game this weekend.

The Vikings take on the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday and fans will get a chance to enjoy an array of new food and beverage vendor options that include partnerships with several Twin Cities vendors.

Among the new partners is Egg Flip, offering a variety of Korean-inspired breakfast food options including their signature flip sandwiches.

"I make all the sauce in-house," says owner Flip Koumalasy. "We have a gochujang aioli, we also have the spicy mayo that we make in the house, and that will make the sandwiches taste delicious."

Other first time local food vendors moving in this year include Roon Savories and Official Fried Chicken.

Owner of Roon's Savory Cones, Roon Johnson, says he's putting a new twist on the traditional ice cream cone, by filling them with foods like mac and cheese and egg salad.

"I used to work at an ice cream shop and had the idea for, we had our sweet cones for ice cream," says Johnson. "We had sandwiches and I was like, there could be a crossover between the two. COVID hit, I had the idea and wanted to try it. Started out, tweaked the recipe 27 times to get it right, and landed on the savory cone recipe that worked."

The Herbivorous Butcher and Birch's Brewhouse on the Lake are also new for 2024.
