Learn about low-cost home-buying with Habitat for Humanity of Champaign Co.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County is inviting the community to attend their virtual workshop to learn about affordable home ownership.

The free workshop will take place Feb. 24 at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It will include information on affordable home ownership opportunities, down payment assistance, and how to review your credit report to determine your home-buying options.

If you cannot attend the Feb. 24 date, several alternative workshop dates will take place throughout the year:

• March 23
• May 18
• June 15
• Sept. 21
• Oct. 19
• Nov. 23

Habitat for Humanity said each date will relay similar information with different presenters.
