    Community Spotlight: Farmer City Heritage Days

    FARMER CITY, Ill. (WCIA) — For Monday’s Community Spotlight, spokesperson Brent Cordes for Farmer City Heritage Days spoke with Matthew White about the summertime event coming to downtown.

    Farmer City high school, elementary students team up, build bird houses

    Heritage Days will run from May 30-31 at 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., then June 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The community event will feature a coffee truck, a visit from Illinois State Police, a scavenger hunt, live rock ‘n’ roll, a dunk tank, a car show, a 5K, and much, much more.

    The event is free, save for special Party Pit concert tickets.
