Urbana Police Department to host Coffee with a Cop later this month

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — The Urbana Police Department will be holding a Coffee with a Cop event later this month.

The Coffee with a Cop is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the McDonald’s location at 1705 South Philo Road. Officials said the event is a great way to meet local law enforcement officers, ask questions and build rapport in the community.

“Community safety is a team effort,” officials said in a Facebook post announcing the event. “Let’s work together to keep Urbana strong and connected.”
