SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — A new delivery service is giving people the chance to eat their favorite foods from the Illinois State Fair without having to pay admission or navigate the crowds and lines.

Fair Dash launched the day after the State Fair opened for its 2024 season. It allows people to order from a dozen of the fair’s vendors, with food options like Lemon Shake Ups, cheesesteaks, mini donuts, turkey legs and funnel cake.

Fair Dash noted that one turkey leg costs the same as parking and admission fees for the fair itself, billing itself as a cost-effective way of eating fair classics. There is currently no minimum price requirement.

Curbside pickup at the State Fairgrounds, set up at 1168 East Sangamon Avenue, is available for free along with delivery. Fair Dash promises a delivery time of 30 minutes or less.
