Police will have extra officers in the area for Monday afternoon and at dismissal to promote “a visible presence to ensure security in area school zones”. A spokesperson for the department said they are working to investigate the source of the threat.

In an email from the school district to families, all students were reported safe.

“We continue to prioritize the safety and security of our students and staff,” part of the email reads.

School officials ask that any suspicious information or threats be reported to the district using their Securly Tip Line online. The complete email is posted below.
