Community Spotlight: Community Foundation of East-Central Illinois

CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) — The Community Foundation of East-Central Illinois is a foundation that provides grants to nonprofit organizations in nine counties in Central Illinois. The grants can be used for any durable goods — anything that is hard and durable.

Allison Winters, the President and CEO of the Community Foundation, came on The Morning Show to talk about her organization and their latest round of grant funding. The Community Foundation is accepting applications through Aug. 31 and Winters said over $200,000 will be distributed across East-Central Illinois.
