    Taylorville Police, Crime Stoppers seeking tips on campaign sign theft

    TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The Taylorville Police Department and Christian County Crime Stoppers are asking for help in finding the people who stole multiple campaign signs from around town.

    Officials said that over the weekend, several properties had campaign signs that were stolen off them. Some of the signs’ brackets were left behind in a damaged state.

    Rantoul authorities looking for tips on four fires in one neighborhood

    The total cost of the thefts is unknown at this time.

    People who know something about this string of crimes is asked to contact Christian County Crime Stoppers by calling 217-824-9100, visiting their website or texting CRIMES to 274637. All tips will be anonymous and eligible for up to $1,000 if an arrest is made using the information provided.
