DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Part of Mound Road in Decatur is going to be reduced to one lane for the next month for bridge repairs.

City officials said crews will be working on the bridge that carries Mound Road over Stevens Creek starting this week. As a result of this work, Mound Road will be down to one lane with traffic signals.

This configuration will be in place until Oct. 14.

People are asked to drive safely in the area and follow the traffic signals they’re given at the construction zone.
