DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — The Macon County Clerk’s Office is inviting the public to see the new location where the people can vote early.

The Annex Building, located at 151 West Wood Street, is the new home of the early voting center and it replaces the Macon County Office Building. The Clerk’s Office is inviting anyone interested in seeing the Annex to an open house Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The building is fully ADA-compliant and has parking onsite.

The county bought the Annex Building a year ago. Half of it is being used for the early voting center while another department will use the other half starting next year.

Early voting begins Sept. 26 in Illinois.
