    Georgetown man accused of stealing, destroying car from Westville

    WESTVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — A man from Georgetown is under arrest after Westville Police said he stole a car over the weekend and then destroyed it.

    Westville Police said they took a report on Saturday that a car had been stolen from a business at State Street and Kelly Avenue. Three days later, the car was found in multiple pieces on a rural property east of Georgetown.

    Westville Police arrest Indiana man for traveling to meet minor, sexual abuse

    Officers from Westville responded to the car’s discovery and found information in regard to a suspect. The suspect was identified as Dustin Sapp of Georgetown.

    Sapp was taken into custody at his home without incident. Westville officials said he is facing multiple charges related to the theft of the car.
