Teutopolis and Montrose crews responded to the accident at 6:30 p.m. around the 102.5-mile marker.

According to the Teutopolis Fire Protection District, a semi-truck, a car hauler and a pickup truck towing a trailer were involved in the crash.

Illinois State Police said Omar Hussein, the driver of the semi-truck, slowed down due to traffic around the construction. They say Muzaffar Lomidze, the driver of the car hauler, was traveling behind Hussein but failed to slow down and crashed into him. Bradley McCown, the driver of the pick up truck also failed to reduce his speed and struck Lomidze.

Firefighters were able to clear the scene around 8 p.m. and eastbound traffic was closed until all of the vehicles were towed out of the area.

No injuries were reported from the crash, and all of the drivers refused medical attention. Illinois State Police say there is no further information available at this time.

hope the semi driver sues them. sounds like they ruined his career due to impatience. they should die slowly and remember what they did to deserve it.
