    $1 million lottery instant ticket sold in Springfield

    SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — One of Central Illinois’ newest millionaires got their wealth from a $10 scratch-off ticket.

    A lucky person bought the new $10 Gold Multipler Instant at the Fas Mart/Marathon Gas Station located at 3801 South 6th Street in Springfield, and won the jackpot of $1 million, Illinois lottery officials said Friday.

    Fas Mart is also netting a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

    The Illinois Lottery currently offers a range of Instant Ticket games priced from $1 to $50, available at approximately 7,000 retail locations across Illinois.
