    Nearly 100 beds to be delivered to kids in need in Champaign Co.

    CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — After a day spent building beds for kids in need in Champaign last week, almost 100 beds are being delivered.

    Sleep for Heavenly Peace is trying to put an end to children’s sleepless nights

    “Sleep in Heavenly Peace” is a national non-profit organization that works to provide beds for kids across the county. Last weekend, the Mahomet chapter and volunteers were busy building twin-sized beds for kids aged 3 to 17 years old.

    According to the organization’s Facebook , 94 beds would be delivered to 94 kids. As of Tuesday night, eight beds had been delivered.
