    Power restored in Mahomet after five-hour outage

    MAHOMET, Ill. (WCIA) — A power outage in Mahomet on Saturday night left some residents without power for several hours.

    Nearly forty customers were without power for five hours. But, a representative from Ameren Illinois said power has been restored for all impacted.

    Crews brought back power in the area by putting up a new pole and fixing the power lines after a tree knocked down the line.

    The outage impacted residents along South Market Street in Mahomet.
