Trick-or-treating hours announced for Champaign Co.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — With October officially here and Halloween quickly approaching, several local municipalities have announced this year’s trick-or-treating hours.

Trick-or-treating will be from 6-8 p.m. in the City of Champaign, City of Urbana and Champaign County.

The Champaign County Board has also approved several specific rules and guidelines for the holiday this year.

First, trick-or-treating will be held on Oct. 31, regardless of the day of the week. And, if Oct. 31 falls on a weekday, then trick-or-treating will be from 6-8 p.m. Lastly, the Board agreed that when Halloween falls on a weekend, trick-or-treating will take place from 5-7 p.m.
