Charleston Police respond to car crash involving power lines

CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — First responders are on the scene of a traffic accident in Charleston.

Charleston Police officials confirmed that the crash happened at 12th and Harrison Streets, and it involved a power pole. There is no word on any road closures, but officials did suggest using an alternate route and avoiding the area as power lines may be down.

There is also no word on injuries.
