Crime Stoppers seeking information on Taylorville burglary

TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — This week, Crime Stoppers of Christian County is looking for more leads about a burglary that took place in Taylorville.

According to them, during the early morning hours of Tuesday, Oct. 2 one or more people entered an apartment building at 2100 Grand Blvd.

While the suspects were inside, they went through cabinets, drawers and closets in the apartment.

On top of that, multiple items were thrown around inside, causing damage. Despite this, nothing has appeared to have been stolen.

Crime Stoppers asks anyone with information on this or any other crime to contact them by calling 217-824-9100, visiting their website , or by texting CRIMES (274637) and then your tip. All tips will remain anonymous and if information leads to an arrest, tipsters may receive up to $1,000 in cash for their help.

They will pay double the normal reward amount for information that leads to an arrest for the crime of the week.
