Oscar Mayer Wienermobile returning to Central IL this week

CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) — The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is making its way back to Central Illinois this week.

The 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels previously stopped by Champaign this summer. If you missed your chance then, you can still see the famous vehicle between Oct. 10-13 in several different locations throughout the area.

Champaign

• Thursday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Niemanns grand opening, 2901 West Kirby Avenue

Danville

• Friday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Danville County Market, 2917 North Vermilion Street

Tilton

• Friday, Oct. 11 from 2-5 p.m.
  • Tilton County Market, 1628 Georgetown Road

Charleston

• Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Charleston County Market, 551 West Lincoln Avenue

Mattoon

• Saturday, Oct. 12 from 2-5 p.m.
