    Rivalry week begins as Illinois preps for Purdue

    (WCIA) — Illinois is off a bye week and back home at Memorial Stadium for the first time in four weeks, with a long-standing rivalry to dive back into Big Ten play.

    The Illini, ranked No. 23 in the latest AP Poll, host Purdue for the 100th installment of the Purdue Cannon series. Illinois is 4-1 and ranked for the fourth-straight week, while the Boilermakers are 1-4.

    Kickoff on Saturday, October 12 is at 2:30 p.m., broadcast on FS1.
