ILLINOIS (WCIA) — An Illinois Powerball player won $2 million from Monday night’s drawing.

According to a representative from Illinois State Lottery, the winner could be from anywhere within the state. The winning ticket was bought online and had the numbers 18-30-31-52-63.

The player had also opted into the Power Play feature, which bumped up their one-million-dollar prize to two million dollars.

The winner has one year from Oct. 7 to collect their money. The next drawing will be Wednesday night, and the pot is currently sitting at $336 million.

So far this year, more than 2 million winning tickets have been bought by Illinois Lottery players for the Powerball. And, since 1985, Illinois Lottery has contributed more than $24 billion to support K-12 public education.
