CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Part of I-74 westbound is shut down Tuesday morning while State Police respond to a property damage crash.

ISP said around 8:11 a.m., troopers responded to the scene of the crash near milepost 178, a couple of miles from the I-57 junction. ISP confirmed with WCIA that it was a dump truck that struck the Duncan Road overpass, causing the dump bed to fall off into the right lane.

The right lane is blocked with traffic being limited to using the left lane. ISP urges drivers to be extra cautious when traveling through the area as traffic could be slowed down or stopped.

ISP said no injuries have been reported.
