    Macon Co. Health Dept. hosting drive-thru flu vaccine clinic

    DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — The Macon County Health Department is getting people ready for flu season with a drive-thru vaccine clinic.

    The clinic will take place at the Health Department’s headquarters on Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those aged 19 to 64 will receive the standard flu vaccine while those 65 and older will receive a high-dose version of the vaccine. The clinic will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Carle Health helps provide free mammograms

    Those who plan on attending should:

    • Enter on Orchard Street heading east and follow the signs to get in line
    • Bring a photo ID and insurance card or insurance information
    • Wear a short-sleeved shirt
