Officials break ground on new helipad at HSHS St. Mary’s

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital is getting a new helipad.

Officials said the new helipad will be located on the north side of the hospital, close to the emergency department. It’s a part of the hospital’s $90 million modernization plan.

HSHS leaders participated in a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday afternoon.
