    One person arrested following Iroquois County road rage incident

    IROQUOIS COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — A road rage incident where a person allegedly waved a gun at someone led to an arrest.

    At approximately 3:07 p.m., Illinois State Police Troop 5 responded to Interstate 57 southbound mile marker 285 in Iroquois County for a reported road rage incident.

    State trooper hospitalized in Champaign County crash

    Police said the suspect vehicle brandished a firearm at the victim’s vehicle and continued driving southbound on I-57. Troopers were able to locate and conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle.

    One person was taken into custody as a result and no injuries were reported.

    The investigation is ongoing.
