Macon Co. Law Enforcement hosting Living Legends event

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — This Saturday, one former Decatur law enforcement member will be able to share his story.

At Doherty’s Pub, former Police Chief and City Manager Jim Williams returns to Decatur to host a story telling event. The event, put on by History of the Heartland, is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., doors open at 3:00 p.m.

Former/current law enforcement staff and the public are all encouraged to attend. This is an evening intended for heroes to share stories and memories about their job as well as the friendships they developed.

Attendees are able to buy food and drinks on their own and it will be served in the back room during the event. Admission is free.
