    Champaign Fire Department extinguishes house fire

    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Champaign firefighters were on the scene of a house fire on Williamsburg Drive Sunday afternoon.

    Firefighters responded to the fire around 3:50 p.m. When they arrived, they reported moderate smoke coming from the home.

    Over 10 fire departments respond to Champaign Co. fire

    The crews used multiple hose lines to put out the fire. They were able to contain the fire to a single bedroom in the home.

    The Champaign Fire Department said the cause of the fire is unknown, but investigators are on the scene working to determine how it began.

    No injuries were reported from the fire.
