The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Caleb Spayer, had struck an attached garage, and then came to a stop in the backyard of the home.

According to the Farmer City Police Department, the owner of the home was not injured.

Spayer was brough to Warner Hospital and then taken to DeWitt County Jail. He’s charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a traffic control device, according to the department.
