    Champaign police leadership complete Northwestern safety training

    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Two members of the Champaign Police Department now hold a special certification from Northwestern University.

    Over 20 firefighters respond to early morning Decatur house fire

    Chief Timothy Tyler and Lieutenant Aaron Lack graduated from the Northwestern University Executive Management Program on Saturday, Oct. 26.

    According to the Champaign Police Department , both Tyler and Lack took part in the three-week program. It brings police and public safety managers from the United States and around the world together to learn how to better serve the public.

    The program investigates law enforcement trends and allows for law enforcement leaders to discuss issues that law enforcement faces.
