EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Two people were hurt Sunday evening in a crash involving three semi-trucks on Interstate 70 in Effingham County.

Officials with the Illinois State Police said the crash happened at 5:05 p.m. near Teutopolis and Montrose. The investigation indicated that one of the semi-trucks — a Freightliner — failed to slow down when approaching stopped traffic and hit the rear of a Volvo semi-truck.
