Lawsuit launched on behalf of NC foster kids

This should t be the only lawsuit when they took me from my mother they made me stand in the office with my social work while she asked my father and grandmother if they were going to take custody of me and when they said no I we cant financially afford to it was the most destructive/ soul destroying line I’ve ever heard my whole life it killed any hopes of me having a relationship with them in the future and no kid should have to be in the room to hear those words that conversation isn’t meant to be done in front of them children! That is an adult conversation and should be treated like one. Not only has it caused me not to be able to have a relationship ship with that side of my family but it has also caused me other issues mentally thru out my life that I still struggle with till this day like self worth and always feeling like I never fit in anywhere I struggle with authority now because it was a authority figure who made me hear that conversation. It’s a form of child trafficking

It's sad.They will let almost anybody be a foster parent and pay them! But yet they won't allow someone to adopt, and if they do allow it, it cost upward of ten thousand or more! Make it make sense!!
