    CPD: 29-year-old man dead after shooting at The Banks

    A 29-year-old man is dead after a late Friday night shootinng at The Banks, Cincinnati police said.

    Officers responded to a reported shooting at the 100 block of Elm Street, which is near the Andrew J. Brady Center, around 10:45 p.m.

    Police said they found John Blanks III, 29, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but Blanks died at the scene, CPD said.

    CPD did not release any suspect information at this time.

    CPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation, and anyone with information is asked to called the Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542.
