The Hamilton County Coroner's Office has identified a man killed in a crash in Westwood on Friday.

The coroner's office says 85-year-old Robert Czerwinski is the man who died after the crash.

Cincinnati police said a teenager driving a 2016 Ford Focus disregarded a red light at the intersection of Boudinot Avenue and Queen City Avenue, crashing into a 2016 Toyota Camry. After the initial crash, the Toyota then hit the entrance of the Ahadu Internation Market.

The drivers of both cars were taken to UC Medical Center for their injuries, as well as one passenger inside the Ford. Czerwinski, the rear-seat passenger inside the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither person inside the Ford was wearing a seat belt. Police said the driver of the Toyota was but it is unclear at this time whether the man who died was.

Police said they are investigating whether excessive speed was a contributing factor in the crash.

This is exactly the problem on our roads. People disregard stop signs, lights, and drive like a bat out of hell. I watch it every day on Cincinnati roads. They are on their phones and come over into your lane, then you have to beep or their going to smash you, and they have their nerve to get mad like you did something wrong lmao. It's not worth people's lives. Slow down and pay attention people. Now, someone has to bury their loved one because someone was speeding and ran a light. That's disgusting and infuriating. Everyone's life is important, so think before you do stupid stuff that can cause someone else their life and also cost you your life or prison time.
