Happened to me too, before the scammer even changed my name and profile pic I contacted FB who then asked for my ID which I happily sent for them to tell me they don't accept that form of I'd even though it's my freaking driver's license which can't get even more real than that. Now the scammer has changed everything and messages my friends, my husband included, acting like they're just looking for new friends because THEIR account was hacked when in fact they're the ones that hacked the account and trying to make it seem like I'm a scammer telling people it's not me. Facebook doesn't care and SUPPORTS these scammers and hackers
